Terms & conditions of booking with ACES Transfers & Services

These booking conditions, in conjunction with the information set out on our website, form the entire agreement between ourselves and yourselves and cover all bookings made through ACES Transfers & Services.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making your booking. By using acestransferstours.gr or any affiliated website, you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, then regrettably, you may not make a booking via our website. ACES Transfers & Services may change online these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Prices

Details of the price for our Services and the procedures for payment are displayed on our website. The applicable price of any Service is the price displayed on our website at the date and time of your booking. Prices quoted are per vehicle, unless otherwise specified.
All prices are in Euro and include English speaking professional driver, road/bridge tolls, fuel, VAT, parking fees, up to 2 child seats or child seat boosters, car & passenger insurance and reasonable amount of luggage for vehicle booked. If you bring extra luggage that cannot fit in the vehicle, you will need to cover any additional costs incurred in transferring your luggage.
The price of any Service on our website may change before you confirm your booking.
You pay by credit or debit card during the booking procedure. The accepted cards are displayed on the booking page of our website and there is no extra fee for processing credit or debit card payments.
Prices do not include (unless stated), professionally licensed tour guides, entrance fees at museums, archaeological sites, monuments, venues or other sites/places, gratuities to driver, lunches and drinks. Gratuities are at your discretion and are really appreciated if given.

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Diners, MasterPass and there is no extra fee for processing credit or debit card payments. Full payment by credit card is required to complete a booking. Payment will be listed as “Aces Transfers & Services” on the credit card statement. No refunds are available once a tour, transfer, or service has commenced. Payment is provided by Alpha Bank through its platform “Alpha e-Commerce” using cryptography TLS 1.1 with 128-bit encryption (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). The cryptography is a way to encode the user information until it reaches the certain receiver who can only decrypt using the right key.

Bookings

We offer our clients an online booking service, and a 24 hour, 7 days a week Customer Service via E-mail to support any booking request. Our goal is to respond to each query we receive within 24 hours.

Last Minute Bookings

Online bookings can normally be made at least 48 hours before your tour or transfer starts. Just E-mail us at info@acestransferstours.gr and we can check availability for earlier bookings.

Tailor Made Tours or Transfers

ACES Transfers & Services offers a wide range of individual private tours & transfers. If you want a totally different itinerary to those offered in our private tours or transfers section, please contact us with your request and we will do our best to fulfill it.

Airport / Port / Marina Pick Up

At the pick-up or arrival point (airport arrivals hall, port, marina etc.), our driver will be waiting, holding a sign with the booking name or logo.

Arrival delays

We monitor on-line / real-time the airport & port arrivals and our driver will wait for you without any additional cost. If your flight arrives later than 2 hours of the original flight arrival time, or you experience luggage issues that delay your exit more than 2 hours from the original flight arrival time, please note that we will provide airport pick up service only according to our availability and it may require that you wait for the first available driver to arrive at the airport, if one is not available at your delayed arrival time. You will be informed of the estimated waiting time in advance as we will do our best to have a driver as quickly as possible, in order to minimize your additional waiting time.
If you arrive at the airport with a more than 2 hour delayed flight and do not see your driver at the Arrivals Hall holding a sign with your name or logo, please call us at the number you are provided with and we will send you our first available driver. If at the Arrivals Hall you are unable to spot your driver, please do not exit or leave the airport. Call us at the number we provide you with and we will help you locate your driver. If you do not have an internationally operating mobile phone, there are pay phones available inside the airport, that are both coin and credit card operated.

Tour start pick up points

You should advise us during the booking procedure of the hotel that you wish to be picked up from so as to start the tour. We can also pick you up from Athens Airport, Piraeus Port and start the tour from these points. For any other destination please contact us.

Tour departure time

We are flexible to amend the departure time of your tour, according to your needs and wish.

Number of Passengers

We provide MiniVan tours & transfers for up to 7 passengers per vehicle. For your comfortable tour or transfer, we recommend as a maximum passenger number 6, with 1½ luggage per passenger.

Trip Duration

The duration of all tours or transfers are calculated as accurately as possible, but may vary due to weather conditions and traffic.

Attraction Sites Drop Off

Your driver will drop you off as close to the sites you are visiting as legally possible, according to local traffic laws.

Drivers

Please note that we provide Private Transfers or Private Tours with Professionally Licensed English Speaking Drivers and not Professionally Licensed Tour Guides. Your Driver will provide basic information about our culture, the sites, the monuments, the city and only while in the vehicle. Greece has strict laws and regulations in place to protect Licensed Tour Guides, hence, it is unlawful for Drivers to offer commentary about sites outside the vehicle. In order for us to comply with the laws, Drivers may not tour our guests near or inside monuments and museums. Only Licensed Tour Guides may accompany or guide you at the sites you visit and only Licensed Tour Guides or Licensed Tour Companions are lawfully permitted to use microphones inside the vehicle.
For your safety inside the vehicle, drivers provide commentary only when it is deemed safe to do so while driving. When your driver must concentrate during various driving conditions, please refrain from any distracting behavior as your safety during the transfer or tour is our top priority.
When it’s not possible to offer commentary while driving, the driver will provide commentary once the vehicle is stopped near the site you will visit.

Professionally Licensed Guides

We can optionally provide a Professionally Licensed Guide in English or any other language. For this service just contact us.

Child Seats

We provide, without any additional cost, up to 2 children seats or children seat boosters. Please note this during the booking procedure.

Cancellation

Except otherwise stated, any transfer, tour or service cancelled without due notice are subjected to a cancellation fee according to the following scale:

  • Full Refund if cancellation is made more than 30 calendar days before the beginning of the service.
  • 30% Cancellation fee if cancellation is made between 30 to 16 calendar days before the beginning of the service.
  • 50% Cancellation fee if cancellation is made between 15 to 8 calendar days before the beginning of the service.
  • 100% Cancellation fee (no refund) if cancellation is made between 7 calendar days to the starting date of the service or after.

"Operating" hours

ACES Transfers & Services operates all year around, so that you can choose and enjoy your private transfer or tour 365 days a year.

Complaints

If you have a complaint please E-mail us at info@acestransferstours.gr, in order to resolve it.

Travel Insurance

It is your responsibility to get travel insurance and to ensure that the insurance you purchase, is suitable and adequate for your particular needs.

Lost property

Whilst every effort is made to return lost property, ACES Transfers & Services cannot be held responsible for property left on the vehicle. Property found must be collected from our office.

Accident or Loss

We have no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our employees’ negligence, in which case our liability is limited to the maximum of the refund of the tour or transfer cost. Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout the tours.

Clothing

Entrance to churches and monasteries visited on our tours is not allowed to gentlemen and ladies without proper outfit.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles, but all tours make frequent stops.

Food and Drink

In order to maintain a fresh and clean vehicle for all our clients, eating or drinking from cups or other open containers (cans or coffee cups) that are susceptible to spillage, is not permitted inside the vehicles. Bottled beverages that can be closed tightly with a cap are welcome.

Vehicles

Our vehicles are regularly maintained for optimal safety and performance at Mercedes Benz Service Centers. By booking any service via this website you accept that vehicles are mechanical objects subject to various unpredictable malfunctions that can happen unexpectedly during your transfer or tour. At no time will you hold ACES Transfers & Services responsible or liable for any vehicle malfunctions, mechanical or otherwise, or issue public complaints for matters beyond our control.

General conditions

Each tour operates to sufficient demand. In the event of “Places of Interest” being closed, or road conditions en-route prevent the tour as advertised being operated, every endeavor will be made to substitute with an alternative, however, ACES Transfers & Services reserves the right to cancel or alter arrangements.

Force Majeure

Force majeure means that we will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change any Service because of unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These can include, but are not limited to, accidents and related delays, unplanned marches, demonstrations and organized disruption, police operations, unforeseen road hazards, terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other similar events outside our control.

Our terms and conditions and your use of our web site are governed by the laws of Greece and in the event of any dispute under our contract, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek courts.
